| The Companion is a commercially available plastic 6-outlet strip which has been modified by the VansEvers Company. Inexpensive (read "cheap") plastic outlet strips usually sound cheap...and like they're made from thin plastic. Not so the Companion, because it has been "voiced" with resonance modification techniques. Two types of dampening materials have been utilized to rid the Companion of the "cheap & plastic" sound of inexpensive outlet strips. It also has 3-way surge suppression (L-N, L-G, N-G) and a basic RFI filter. So not only does it sound good, it does a good job of protecting your equipment from power line "nasties." |
