| This 4 outlet, specially-designed-for-power-amps Reference Unlimiter will not reduce nor limit dynamics. It is designed to attenuate both differential and common-mode noise. Its common-mode choke is based on a 4.5 pound ferrite core; current-limiting is not possible. A tone-adjustable, polarity reversible power cord, the Pandora 222, allows multiple connection (and sonic) options. The Reference Unlimiter can be used to add high current common-mode noise attenuation to other conditioners. Three-stage surge protection is accomplished through use of both Metal-Oxide Varistors (MOV) and gas surge-arresters. The rear panel IEC connector allows use of either the custom VansEvers power cord, or any other 15 amp cable. In addition, a pair of Transient-Impedance switches allows for subtle yet significant sonic changes. In addition, the aesthetics are refined. A black-anodized brushed-aluminum faceplate is set off by the front-panel blue LED. New for 2003, we have improved the common-mode noise rejection for all outlets, analog and digital/video. |
