will not reduce nor limit dynamics. It is designed to attenuate both differential and common-mode noise. Its common- mode choke is based on a 4.5 pound ferrite core; current-limiting is not possible. A polarity reversible power cord, the Model 222, allows multiple connection (and sonic) options. The Unlimiter can be used to add high current common-mode noise attenuation to other conditioners. Three-stage surge protection is accomplished through use of both Metal-Oxide Varistors (MOV) and gas surge-arrestors. The rear panel IEC connector allows use of either the custom VansEvers power cord or any other 15 amp cable. In addition, a Transient-Impedance switch allows for a subtle yet significant sonic change. |
